New Rules in Bangladesh vs South Africa Series

The tour of Bangladesh Cricket Team to South Africa will officially be kicked off on the 28th of September by the 1st Test Match at the stadium of Senwes Park, Potchefstroom. It has been nine years since Bangladesh Cricket Team made a tour to South Africa to play international cricket. Two test matches, Three One Days and Two T20s are scheduled to play in the whole tour which will officially end on the 29th of October by the last T-20 match between these two teams.

However, International Cricket Council (ICC) has brought some changes in the game of Cricket and those are going to be introduced in Bangladesh vs South Africa series for the very first time in the Gentleman's Game: Cricket. It was announced that the rules are to be applied from the 1st of October. But that's the fourth day of the 1st test match of Bangladesh vs South Africa. To avoid, unwanted situations the rules are going to be applied from the very first day which is 28th of September, 2017.

Mushfiqur Rahim, the captain of the test team of Bangladesh has already said that they are aware of the rules and will follow the rules carefully. So, what are the rules?

Red Card:

Remember the red card of Zinedine Zidane in the FIFA World Cup Final 2006 and France lost the game in the Tiebreaker? That "Red Card" is said to be the turning point of the game. If you've guessed already than you are right. I'm talking about Red Card because this"Red Card" has been introduced by ICC so that on-field umpire can BAN a player for inappropriate behavior. 

Specific size of Cricket Bat:

The size of Cricket bat is going to be very specific from now. A Batsman can use the bat which has the highest Width of 108 millimeter, 67 millimeter thick and 40 millimeter in the corner. To avoid the weight of the Cricket Bat on the cricket ball, this step has been taken.

Run out? Not Run out?

Remember once Sanath Jayasuriya was running to his end and the jumped to avoid the ball but the ball hit the stamps. Umpires had nothing to put the finger up to indicate that he was out just because he was in the air when the ball hit the stumps. I think that's enough for now as because if a batsman touches his safe zone in the pitch, he is safe. Doesn't matter whether his bat flies high or touches the ground, he will not be given as OUT!

Not like that actually but it's more like that. xD. From now, DRS will not go in vain for Umpires Call. If the TV umpire doesn't change the decision of filed umpire and stays with his decision, the review will not be counted.
